I am committed to coordinating resources, services, and leading health systems management with a population health approach, impacting the implementation of services and strategic direction across systems and programs to further the health systems' mission of building healthier communities through technology and human development. Ensuring high quality, exceptional performance, growth, patient experience, staff engagement, interdisciplinary approach, population health, care coordination, case/care management, innovation, research, and education to provide high standards of access to care. My extensive experience spans clinical, operational, capacity-building, academic, and consulting roles, encompassing health systems management, financial acumen, care coordination, case and care management, transition of care, and acute and ambulatory care services.
I have had a honor and privilege of serving as Assistant Vice President, Senior Administrative Director, Associate Chief Nursing Officer, Clinica and Operations Director, Director of Nursing, Patient Care Director, Hospital Program Administrator, Clinical Nurse Specialist, Nurse Coordinator, Care/Case Manager, Clinica Nurse, at diverse settings including government, non-profit, for-profit, designated centers, Low and high income countries globally, union/bargaining and non-bargaining systems, where I have been empowered with strategic operations direction, business ventures and service lines oversight.
As a United States Fulbright Specialist and consultant, I am an expert in leading and managing clinical and operational initiatives, utilizing financial acumen, and collaboratively providing administrative support to interdisciplinary teams across diverse services and departments.
As a global population health consultant, my expertise in providing advice and guidance to health systems, organizations, governments and businesses on population health-related improvements and concerns with a international lens and scope by analyzing challenges, develop strategies and collaborate with diverse entities to implement solutions to improve people development, programs, and health outcomes globally.

Analyzing global health issues (researching, evidence-based, and cultural humility assessment of health challenges impacting populations across the international landscape, such as disease and health disparities and developing a strategic approach and programs through the design and implementation of health systems programs, policies, and interventions with diverse stakeholders. I enjoy providing expert advice and guidance on health-related concerns, people and policy developments, program development, implementation, and sustainability, as well as resource management. I sustain programs and facilitate change through efficient communication, partnerships, and collaboration among diverse stakeholders, which include governments, health ministries, NGOs, and start-ups. I enjoy monitoring and evaluating the impacts of programs by tracking their progress and effectiveness, adjusting as needed, and adapting to stakeholders' cultures to enhance outcomes. Due to my experience with acute, chronic, and diverse diseases, I thrive on initiatives that promote disease prevention and health promotion and control through health systems strengthening. I incorporate healthcare infrastructure, access to services, and workforce development through coaching, mentoring, and sponsorship, as well as capacity building in rural, urban, and high- and low-income countries. I enjoy combining public and population health policy, health economics, global health, and evaluation expertise to improve the quality and use of evidence for strategic, policy, and programmatic planning and implementation.
With my background and education in public health, health systems management, and the utilization of health policy and advocacy to shape policies, as well as promoting health equity and advocacy with a global mindset in all initiatives, I have developed a rewarding expertise that I apply. With the advancement of digital and telehealth innovations, I enjoy exploring and implementing solutions that incorporate innovative initiatives to enhance healthcare delivery, access, and comprehensive approaches in acute, ambulatory care, and diverse transitions of care, as well as developing strategies to establish emergency preparedness and response to population and public health needs.
I have mastered the responsibilities of researching past and current health issues that affect people all over the world and use the findings to assist public/population health-focused entities, create documents for health care services, and identify health care risks, as well as include collaborative impact with others in an organization with a direct influence on decisions with different stakeholders.
My breadth of experience has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to conduct complex evaluations and strategic reviews, and to provide high-level technical advisory support by synthesizing diverse sources of evidence and analysis to develop relevant and nuanced conclusions and recommendations on complex issues and improvements.
I have served on diverse boards, councils, committees, and advisory boards at the global, national, and local levels. I have been recognized for my impact and efforts in mentoring, coaching, sponsorship, health policy and advocacy, health promotion and prevention, care management and transitions, as well as my commitment to improving population health management.
With years of experience, I have been able to impact and drive access to care, efficiency in cost savings, building service lines and sustaining them, leading initiatives and improvements using data analysis, redesigning processes, develop and implement strategies to align clinical practice, daily operations, drive quality and performance improvement initiatives that support evidence-based and research approach across organizations keeping in mind financial stewardship.
My goal is to continue utilizing my skills, expertise, and experience to positively impact healthcare clinical care, operations, care transitions, and academia through evidence-based approaches.
